And it is realised simply by willing it to be.

The practical execution of will is by definition the essence of strength.

We are strong simply because we will it to be.

And strength is our central pillar.

These words, while being pseudo-cryptic, and seemingly circular, are very true. And they came to me amidst the train ride from Guiyang to Guangzhou on my recent trip to China; Acting upon ones will and desire, is a real world statement of intent, and an active demonstration of power.

The actions need not necessarily be profound. Or significant. Or necessarily achieve anything of particular substance. But the mere act of undertaking a worldly manifestation of ones will, is, without a doubt, remarkable and serves as the germ for power. It alters ones external environment to suit, or better, ones desired state. It changes the world. Change, necessitates strength. Strength begets power.

So upon the decision to impact ones environment, it is likely we encounter obstacles and challenges. Obviously these are positive euphemisms, because they are otherwise known as adversity and resistance. The beauty, however, is that adversity and resistance, while difficult and challenging, encourages the growth of strength.

So what we see, is the decision to undertake change, leads to a statement of strength, which is the foundation of power, which leads to resistance, which leads to further strength, which leads to further power.

I could insert some made up example about how some listless soul I knew many years ago employed this way of thinking and is now a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Or how historical figure X clearly knew that this theory was correct. But I respect your intelligence. I know, and you know, that power and success is often contingent upon a thousand factors.

This is but one of those factors.

The road to power starts with one choosing to be strong.

We are strong because we will it to be. And Strength is the central pillar to most, if no tall, success.
